So, today is about forgiveness. Forgive yourself for everything. Don’t live in a continuous battle with yourself, it won’t get you anywhere. Forgive that you chose wrong sometimes, that you hurt someone without meaning it, that you’ve done a bad thing with consciousness. Forgive yourself for all those times when you knew you could do better but still chose not to. Just forgive yourself. Make peace with the decisions you’ve made so far, they brought you in this very moment. In this moment, where you know yourself better, where you know exactly how you wanna be and how you wanna fight for yourself and for the people from your life.
You are special and you deserve the very best in this life and the many others that will come. Just take a deep breath. Do you hear that sound? It’s your heart, sweetie. Beating and fighting every day for you to make a difference in this world. She never let you down, did she? Not a single morning. You woke up, you received your gift of being alive each and every morning, without doing anything special in order to earn it. You just got a new day, a new chance, a new you. Every day there is a new version of yourself. So, leave the past behind and just forgive yourself. You are not perfect and you will never be, but life is not about perfection. It’s about its crazy ways of mixing things up, adding that variety of feelings that gives you headaches, heartaches, stomachaches. But don’t you worry about that. Each day you are given the chance to reborn.
And after you forgive yourself, forgive others too. Forgive them for doing you wrong, for hurting you, for lying, for cheating, for not offering you love. Forgive everything that holds you back in an older version of yourself. You are not there anymore. You are just fine. You will always be fine and enough for those who can see your true colors. Don’t get lost on the way of changing yourself. Don’t get stuck in the haunting past that you have. We all come with baggage, but it is there only to remind us how far we’ve come. Only to show us how much we can carry, how strong we’ve become and how many things we've gained on the way. You may not believe every word I’m saying, but one day, when you will read this again, you will realize that I was right. You are fine! And you are forgiven!
With love,
a human just like you.
